1. I have been involved in an accident. What should I do?

If you have been involved in an accident, you should call 77778283 and report the accident. An officer will then visit the scene of the accident, record the events and take photographs of the scene. It is very important to know that the officer will need your driver’s license and the title deed of your car. If you do not have them with you, please send them to your insurer or insurance company as soon as possible, so that your claim can be processed.

2. Do you offer all types of insurance?

Yes, our office offers all types of insurance. Motor Vehicle insurance, Property insurance (home, shop, office, etc.), Liability insurance (Professional, Civil, Employer’s), Technical insurance, Life insurance, Medical insurance, Hunting insurance, Travel insurance and generally all kinds .

3. How can I pay my premium?

The premium can be paid in cash, by check, by bank transfer, by credit card or by direct debit (SEPA) from a bank.

4. How and when is my contract renewed?

Insurance policies are annual. Prior to the expiration of your policy, one of our employees will contact you with regards to your renewal.

5. How can I change my contact information?

You can change your contact details by contacting us at 25 – 747600 or by accessing the insurance company’s customer portal (contact us for further details).

6. I want to make changes to my contract. Can I?

Of course. Changes can be made on the anniversary (renewal) of the contract or whenever during the policy period.

7. Can I pay my insurance in instalments?

Yes, the insurance policy allows for a number of instalments depending on the amount of the annual premium.

8. Are electric vehicles insured?

Our office, in collaboration with the insurance company, offers Electric Vehicle Insurance.

9. I have a claim regarding Property or Liability insurance. What should I do?

If the claim concerns property or liability insurance then you should call our office at 25-747600 and connect with the claims department for guidance.

10. I have a complaint. Where should I go?

In case of a complaint please call 25-747600 or write to us at info@nthoma.com.cy.

11. What documents will I receive after my insurance is completed?

  • With Motor Insurance, you will receive the Insurance Policy which will include the Schedule indicating the details of your coverage and the Motor Vehicle Insurance Certificate
  • With Property insurance, you will receive the Insurance Policy which will include the Schedule indicating the details of your coverage and the sums insured.
  • With Liability Insurance, you will receive the Insurance Policy which will include the Schedule indicating the details of your coverage and in the cases of Employers Liability the Certificate of Insurance.

12. I want to insure my home. How do I calculate the sum insured?

In order to insure your property correctly you should consult a professional property valuer or contractor. Our staff is able to provide some indicative information which, however, should in no way be considered accurate or binding.

13. What is considered a building and what contents?

Building is considered to be the building including permanent fixtures, fittings.
Content is considered to be the property belonging to the insured and is situated within the enclosed and covered areas of the Buildings.

Life and Health

14. Do I have the option to choose the hospital or clinic where I will be treated?

Yes, the insured can choose any hospital/clinic he/she wishes. If the incident is covered, then the only difference is that, if the hospital/clinic does not have a collaboration with the insurance company then the insured will pay the cost of the hospitalization/surgery himself/herself and will then claim it from the insurance company. If the hospital/clinic has a collaboration with the insurance company, then the cost of the hospitalization/surgery will be paid directly to the hospital/clinic.

15. When we say outpatient care, what do we mean?

Outpatient care is, as its name suggests, care outside of a hospital (where hospitalization is not required). Outpatient care concerns and covers the cost of doctor visits, prescribed medications, diagnostic tests, laboratory tests, physiotherapy, etc.

16. Does the health insurance policy covers me in Cyprus or abroad also?

The health insurance policies we offer have Global coverage. The amount and limits of coverage are indicated in the policy schedule.
