It is a comprehensive insurance program for travellers during a leisure or a business trip outside of Cyprus. Travel Insurance can be issued for one person or for a group of people (e.g. family members).

Basic Coverage
The basic coverage of the Insurance Policy includes:

• Payment of the following benefits/expenses in case the insured is injured in an accident during his trip:
  • Death.
  • Permanent Total Disability.
  • Loss of wages due to incapacity for work (temporary incapacity).

Optional coverages:

• Medical expenses as a result of an accident or illness and other expenses including funeral expenses and transportation of the deceased to the insured’s country of residence.
• Loss or damage to luggage, clothing or personal effects.
• Theft or loss of money.

Exceptions:
The Policy is subject to exclusions, some of which are:

• War risks.
• Terrorist acts.
• Nuclear radiation, environmental pollution.
• Flights except as a passenger, winter sports, mountain climbing, racing, diving.
• Pre-existing disability or illness.

Special exceptions:

• Breakage or damage to fragile objects, musical instruments, cameras, portable devices, portable computers, mobile phones, unless the damage is caused by fire or an accident in the means of transport in which they are transported.
• Passports, tickets, money in luggage.
• Damage to sports equipment while in use.
